To be the potential client

Part of today was spent on liaising with search firms and recruitment consultants regarding a new assignment. The speed by which they returned my calls and the flexibility they demonstrated when I suggested meeting dates... Wow, it's nice to be the client! Now I have to listen to their sales pitches; the not so interesting part of the job as they are same same but different (in their opinion). What will separate the wheat from the chaff is the 'click test'. Will we click in the meeting or not? That's all that matters.
